The SOUND Youth Group

Sound youth groupThe SOUND Youth Group is a group aimed at young people aged 13 – 19 (25 with disabilities) who identity as lesbian, gay, bi-sexual or for those questioning their sexuality. The group which runs every Monday 5.00 – 8.00pm, providing young people with a safe comfortable space to meet other LGBTQ young people. The group have the chance to explore issues regarding sexuality and get involved in projects aimed at increasing confidence and self esteem.  

The group is currently working in partnership with BKYP to hold the ‘SOUND IT OUT’ LGBTQ Youth Voice Conference. The conference is aimed at young people and will be a chance for young people and services to get together to discuss issues affecting young LGBTQ young people within the Bradford District.
The event will take place on the 26th March 12.00 – 5.00 at City Hall, Bradford.
