Do you have what it takes to be an MYP?

Bradford North are looking for two new Members of Youth Parliament

If you think you have what it takes to represent the views of young people now is your chance to join BKYP in Bradford North and help to make the area a better place to live for young people.

Check out what the Bradford North MYPs are working on by visiting the constituency page.

There will be an information session to let you know more about BKYP and what it means to be an MYP. Here you can meet the other MYPs and decide if you want to be part of BKYP. The session will take place on Tuesday 29th January 2008 6pm - 9pm at Laisterdyke Youth & Community Centre.

The following week on Tuesday 5th February 2008 the co-opting sessions will take place. Again this will be 6pm - 9pm at Laisterdyke Youth & Community Centre. At this session you will need to convince the current members of youth parliament that they should pick you to join them as MYPs for Bradford North.

The Bradford North MYPs meet every Tuesday at Laisterdyke Community Centre from 6pm to 9pm. If you are interested in becoming part of BKYP why not come along to one of the meetings to see what goes on and meet the MYPs.

If you have any questions or want to know more about the co-opting process contact Paula Stone on 01274 431849 or Phil Kitson on 07825 904964 or fill in the online form here.
