Parks Audit

As a group we undertook some research into the provisions, projects and areas that are currently available to Young people in the East area to find out what was around or accessible to young people.  We then carried out some consultation to find out if this is what the young people wanted. The results showed that the three most wanted activities included;

• Graffiti (41)
• Football (40) and
• sexual health (39) with a close 4th 
• outdoor activities at (38).

These activities are currently not taking place and so we as a group have applied to the Small Monies Big Change grant to help fund these activities.  Negotiations are underway with the East staff to

Accommodate this which should hopefully take place in the New Year 2011.
